Protected by the wisdom of the goddess Tara, this guestroom is simply divine. Immersed in the spirit of the land, we adored spending time lounging around in our room surrounded by rare antiques and shimmering fabrics, looking out of the bay window at the lush gardens below. - Ghislaine & Olivier

May Mara

May Mara is the Sinhalese name for the flame tree and is called that because it flowers in May. The main wardrobe in this guestroom features wood painting detailing from the 13th and 19th century Kandyan periods.
This guestroom on the first floor offers 41 square metres of living space (large bedroom and bathroom) and a 19 square metre terrace with plantation chairs. It has connecting doors to Malburura, so perfect for a family wanting separate rooms for parents and children.
Air conditioned. High ceilings with cooling fans.
A large Dutch colonial double bed (1m 80 by 2m 10) with a canopy and mosquito net.

The guestroom comes equipped with a safe, hair dryer, adapter, beach towel, WiFi access (no TV) and mineral water. Laundry service is available at extra cost.
Deluxe category room. Room rates starts at 180 €uros (Preferential rate from 4 nights,double or single room), including breakfast. Price varies depending on the season and length of stay. Quotes upon request.
